LAKE GUNTERSVILLE BASS MASTERS-MADISON

ANNUAL “CLASSIC TOURNAMENT”

Adopted - 7/12/16

SECTION A.     QUALIFICATION FOR THE CLUB CLASSIC:

1. Accumulate eighty (80) or more points and / or fish seven (7) tournaments out of the 12 tournaments scheduled for the Club Year.

SECTION B.     THE CLASSIC FORMAT:

The Club Classic will be a 1 or 2 day tournament, decided by a vote of the members who qualify for the Classic.

The, date(s), lake to be fished and the launch ramp will be chosen by the Tournament Committee. Once the lake is chosen, it will be totally off limits until any decided pre-practice or the starting day of the tournament.

A live fish weigh in will be conducted. The Card System will not be used for weigh-in.

The Classic will be fished no later than 2 weeks after the October Club Tournament. The actual date will be decided by the Tournament Committee.

Non Boaters will be paired, by draw, with boaters each day of the Classic Tournament. Non Boaters will have no say in the area to be fished and will not be allowed to run the trolling motor unless the Boater agrees.

The entry fee for qualifiers will be $60.00.  $5.00 will be collected each month from each member that fishes a club tournament. (12 tournaments X $5.00 = $60.00) If you fish less than 12 tournaments you will need to pay the balance due before the Classic is fished. [Example: If you fish 7 tournaments and have paid $35.00 ($5 X 7) you would owe $25 in order to fish the Classic ($60 - $35 = $25). If you fish 12 tournaments you would owe nothing. (12 X $5 = $60)

SECTION C.     THE CLASSIC PRIZES:

1. The Club will collect $5.00 from each participant of each club tournament to be put in a “CLASSIC POT”.  These monies, plus balances due from $60.00 entry fee, plus any donations, will be distributed as follows:
