ANNUAL “CLASSIC TOURNAMENT”

SECTION A.  QUALIFICATION FOR THE CLUB CLASSIC:

Accumulate eighty (80) or more points and / or fish seven (7) tournaments out of the 12 tournaments scheduled for the Club Year.

SECTION B. THE CLASSIC FORMAT:

The Club Classic will be a 1- or 2-day tournament, dependent upon annual location selection by the tournament committee.

The date(s) of the lake to be fished and the launch ramp will be chosen by the Tournament Committee. Once the lake is chosen, it will be totally off limits except for a single practice day allowed on the Friday proceeding the actual tournament date.

Fishing Chaos will be utilized to capture and record a photo and weights of all fish.

The Classic will be fished no later than 2 weeks after the October Club Tournament or no later than mid-November. The actual date will be decided by the Tournament Committee.

Non-Boaters will be paired, by draw, with boaters each day of the Classic Tournament. Non-Boaters will have no say in the area to be fished and will not be allowed to run the trolling motor unless the Boater agrees.

The entry fee for qualifiers will be $60.00. $5.00 will be collected each month from each member that fishes a club tournament. (12 tournaments X $5.00 = $60.00) If you fish less than 12 tournaments you will need to pay the balance due before the Classic is fished. [Example: If you fish 7 tournaments and have paid $35.00 ($5 X 7) you would owe $25 to fish the Classic ($60 – $35 = $25). If you fish 12 tournaments you would owe nothing. (12 X $5 = $60)

SECTION C. THE CLASSIC PRIZES:

The Club will collect $5.00 from each participant of each club tournament to be put in a “CLASSIC POT”. These monies, plus balances due from $60.00 entry fee, plus any donations, will be comprise the tournament payout as determined by the participants.

SECTION D. THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE:

The Tournament Committee can make all changes to the Classic Qualifications, Format, Prizes, and Rules, at any meeting of the Tournament Committee with a majority vote of the Tournament Committee.
